Tonight I shared international women’s day with a girlfriend at Mifan in Essaouira’s Old Medina.

Welcomed with roses and an intimate ambience.

We indulged and shared a taste of a few plates, with healthy drinks and finish with a sweet but not rich pistachio cheesecake and coffee.

The decor and welcoming staff created the perfect inviting atmosphere.

Finally got over to work @rimal_network and I wish I went sooner!

Perhaps due to Ramadan but it was so quiet and peaceful making it easy to focus, met some other locals and the friendly warm atmosphere is perfect for networking and meeting like minded people. I love that you can pay for the time you are there and no required to order food or drinks which can get expensive as you hang around other cafes. Also, as a veteran remote workers, I don’t like when cafes are packed for of working people and no where to enjoy the actual cafe.

So it was perfect to find a spot to work without disturbing anyone else while still enjoying the ambience.

Huge recommendation for the remote workers or digital nomads looking for a professional coworking space. They offer individual rooms, abundant outlets and great coffee! Still haven’t tried the food yet!

My new favourite florist in Essaouira!

Discovered @artetvegetal while passing by one day, immediately falling in love with the energy and beauty of the flower shop. The owner is sweet and welcoming, she created a cute little dried bouquet I needed for a photoshoot. Affordable and timeless.

I love dried flowers for the touch of decor, perfect for a minimalist home or countryside villa. No need to water and lasts while easily updated for seasonal occasions or fresh colour accent. Also, she has beautiful in pot plants and flowers for sustainable eco friendly alternative to fresh flowers. (Although the fresh are gorgeous!) Plan ahead by ordering your flowers in advance!

Located on Ave. Casablanca just around the corner from CTM bus station. Perfect gift for a dinner invite or special moment. The beauty of this shop and bouquets are enough to win anyone’s heart. ♥️

I dropped by Rockaway Beach in Queens, New York yesterday to see what’s up.

While it is off season and the surf schools are closed up, I still got a chance to talk to some locals, shop a little, grab a coffee and some tasty snacks.

A shout to Dell @breakwatersurf and Tracy @rockawaybeachbakery - both super kind and welcoming local business owners and surfers, we chatted surf a bit and about Rockaway Beach.

Picked up a cozy @rhythm jacket from Breakwater and the Cheddar Dill scone from Tracy was a tasty treat I enjoyed on my ride back into the city.
