Olo Surf & Nature in Imsoaune, Morocco

If you have ever been to Imsouane, you know the feeling. The feeling of an escape from the ordinary into a surf community now famous around the world. What was once a quiet fishing village with consistent righthander waves taking you from the point into the beach, with its picturesque scenery and tranquillity of peaceful quiet nights. While the quiet charm has now grown into a surf tourist hotspot, the essence of Imsoaune remains, in its local surfer vibe, fresh fish at the port and a tight knit community of vagabonds, surfers and artists meeting in one remote surf destination. Magic Bay name doesn’t disappoint, there may be more surfers in the water, but the all day surfing still exists between the bay and Cathedral. And Olo Surf & Nature has been there since it’s growing popularity, now it has become the meeting point for food, surfing and wave watching. Beyond the waves, it is a place to connect.

Olo Surf & Nature Boutique Hotel

Olo Surf & Nature was once a few boutique hotel locations that overlooked the bay is now grown into two destinations between Imsouane, Morocco and Bali, Indonesia. Olo Surf & Nature has two accommodations in Imsoaune, Agama & Dar Zitoun.

Olo Surf & Nature destination is more than a retreat in Imsouane or Surf Camp, it’s an experience that encompasses a boutique hotel, a surf school, an international restaurant, and a yoga rooftop, all designed to celebrate the beauty of Imsouane.

Agama – The main house overlooking Magic Bay

Agama meaning “Nature” in Amazigh is a place where serenity, community, and adventure come together. The main house Agama is located next to the beach entrance at Magic Bay. Rooms like Eau & Jardin offer ocean views providing the optimal wave check after waking. No need to leave your room to check whether you should suit up or if you should sleep a little longer. Each room offers ambience and tranquility with minimalist surfer charm along with ensuite bathroom. All offering simplicity and comfort simultaneously.

Agama also is connected to the surf school and restaurant as well as their concept boutique shop and the inspiring Rooftop that hosts yoga sessions and private sunbathing for guests.

Whichever room you select, you will be welcomed into the a home away from home that instills rest and relaxation beyond an ordinary getaway. Just steps away from the bay and world famous waves. The longest waves in North Africa.

Whether you are grabbing your morning coffee or socializing over Moroccan Tea post surf, Agama Restaurant is the perfect social spot for a healthy meal or drink to relax and read a book, soak in the sun or vibe with late night music or post surf chatter. Meet new friends or catch up with the locals, Olo has always been the spot for surfers over the years, As Imsouane’s popularity grows so the vibe at the restaurant. Find inner peace in the most tranquil spot in Olo. Olo’s Rooftop Terrace is the perfect private sun soaking spot or meditation area. Just up the hill from Agama is Dar Zitoun, a villa with a private pool and surrounding gardens offering more privacy and tranquility away from the crowds. With a shared area for dining and lounging by the pool still offers an intimate social space. With the rooms spread throughout the two level villa and private bungalows each space gives guests some solitude without being isolated.
